This would be enough to Believe GOD!

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. - Genesis 1:1

God created the heavens and the Earth. If we only had this verse, in the Word of God, it would be enough for us to believe. Take a moment to think of any living or nonliving person that could have done this great work. It brings to mind the time tested Hymn, "How Great Thou Art" Truly, this verse alone testifies HE is Great and He is the One true God. (Father, Son, & Holy Spirit). Pray today that the Simplicity of the WORD will come to life in your day to day activities? Take time to reflect and rest in the presence of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Gods hand in your life

Where you are,
God has placed you.

What you have,
God has given you.

What you are to do,
God will show you.

All you need,
God will provide.

Cry out to the Lord!!!!!!!!

The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. - Psalm 34:17-18 (King James Version)

The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit - Psalm 34:17-18 (New International Version)

Dear friends I have heard from so many of you lately that are crying out to the Lord. I want to encourage you today that according to the Psalms that He does hear your cries and will deliver you. God was able to deliver the whole house of Israel in Egypt with the WORD of the Lord being, "Let My People Go". As you cry out to the Lord today in this very hour. If you have been crushed by the Chariot wheels of life know that our Lord i able to deliver and heal your broken hearts.

Nothing you could do could make him love you more. Because of His great Love He gave His only Son. Everything was done so you would come. Come to the Father though your gift is small. Broken lives and Broken hearts He can will take them all. The power of the Word. The power of his blood Everything was done so you would come. - Lyrics from Darlene Zschech

Has He Risen in Your Life

Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered his words, And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest. It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles. And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not. Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass. - Luke 24:1-12

Sovereignly, the first people on the scene after the resurrection of our Lord were the women. God created women to bring Life into the world. Women were first to witness the empty tomb. Joanna, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and other women were named as the first on the scene. I believe this confirms women represent Life and that is a great honor in His Kingdom. The Jews have a custom on the Sabbath that the women, or mothers light candles because they bring life into the world. Jesus Himself said. "I am the Light of the World" (John 8:12). Today, are you following the Messiah? Do you have the Light of Life?

Have you Passed Over...

Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed. And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare? And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in. And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready. And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. - Luke 22:7-20

And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. - Exodus 12:48

The question for us today is have we Passed Over from death to life and life more abundant. Christ our Passover Lamb has made it possible for us to enjoy a life of forgiveness and restoration from death to Life. Have we reflected and applied the blood of Christ to the doorposts of our hearts today? I encourage us during this Passover season to dig deeper into your faith and the roots of the Passover and how it directly relates to your eternal life.

From the Burning Bush to Today!

And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God. And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites. - Exodus 3:4-8

Have we turned aside to see and hear God calling our name? Have we heard the voice of our Lord from the burning bush in our lives with the orders He has for us daily? Have we heard the heart of our Father who has seen the affliction of the people that He is sending our way everyday? God desires to use each of us, like Moses, to fulfill His plan in the earth today. Christ is the key that allows our participation in the restoration of mankind to God the Father. There is a way to Life and Life more abundant. We can see people freed from the taskmasters of the enemy that seeks to destroy them and keep their sorrows multiplying for generations to come. As we prepare to celebrate the Passover Lamb, let us commit ourselves to turn aside to see the Burning Bush in our lives today and hear our Father call our name, "Moses, Moses" Put your name in place of Moses.

Blessings,
Todd

Pondering in our Hearts?

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:11-19

I find that the Mother of our Lord took time to keep all these things and ponder them in her heart. I believe this verse in the Bible gets overlooked. Have you ever wondered what it means to ponder? One source says, "reflect deeply on a subject". When we reflect deeply on a subject how do we respond? For me, I become quiet. I wonder if that is what Mary did. I believe there is a settling, and maybe even an unrest in our spirit, as we wrestle with the questions we have about Faith and how God has chosen each of us to serve Him with our whole heart. Think about what Mary must have felt in Luke 2 just after all of this has come to light, that she has given birth to the Son of God.

In our own lives today, what is it that God has promised you, or spoken to you, through HIS Holy Word that you are pondering? If you are looking for something, just ask Him for there are plenty of things that You can deeply reflect on that will lead you to Life and Life more Abundant. As I ponder right now, my heart cries for those that will seek Him deeply. The saying is still true, "Wise Men Still Seek Him"
