Lord, I Believe

Lord, I believe You created me in Your IMAGE and You made me GOOD.
Lord, I believe You have shown me by Your WORD the GOOD NEWS of the Kingdom.
Lord, I believe You made me to share with others that the HOLY SPIRIT lives within ME and He can live within them to.
Lord, I believe I am more than able to stay FILLED with the Spirit and LED by the SPIRIT, who is the God of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob, the one true God.

Strengthen your Congregation!

The Holy Spirit will lead, guide, and direct a person into an intimate relationship between themselves and God.  A congregation would strengthen this idea through the members living daily by the Spirit. When the spirit is not the central theme of a person or congregations life, a vacuum is created and man’s ideas take the place of the Spirit

Set the Captives Free

Today, remember God came to set the captives free.  Let Him free you from all those vain imaginations that set themselves up against the knowledge and truth of who you are in HIM and HIM in you.  Practically, we have to stop believing what has been fabricated in our reality as truth and begin to walk fresh and new in baby steps to the life that God has for you - Todd Horton

Israel has a way of explaining Adonai's relationship to the world and people, past, present, and future.

The recent Sukkot holiday has been an amazing time to learn new things about the presence of God in the past, present, and future. The time we have spent with 5 individuals, created in the image of God, has helped all of us go deeper in our faith.  Our minds, wills, and emotions have been renewed.  

May we rejoice in the Shabbat rest that He offers daily. That rest, through the power of the Spirit, will comfort and guide us; alerting the season of His return.  Let us return to Adonai in rest.   Wait upon Adonai.  May we know Him in Spirit and in Truth.  He is truly King over all the earth.  One day we will see face to face the fullness of His coming.  Don't arise from your rest prematurely.  Wait upon the Lord.

Abide in His Presence.

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. - John 15:12-13

There is a great need for us to learn how to Abide in Him. We can't truly love as He Loved us, until we learn how to Abide in the Word in us, where His presence dwells. This will release a joy that will be full.

Come Abide in His presence, He is waiting, waiting for us.

Will you say YES!

And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:

And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:


And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen. - Matthew 22:1-14

Continuing in the theme of obedience which is what we looked at on Monday we quickly realize that Matthew 22: 1- 14 looks at this same theme from Jesus own words. Imagine being engaged to someone and not doing any preparation for the wedding. Not taking an interest in your betrothed's ideas about the wedding, the honeymoon, guests etc.

That would be very hurtful and you would probably begin to question whether or not you wanted to marry this person. Marriage is such a sacred act according to God's view that I believe he used this parable and example to show both the intimacy and serious nature by which we should examine our faith walk.

Do we desire just to be with him, to love Him, to see who He really is. Interesting that Jesus himself spoke these words in verse 14 many are called, but few are chosen. We could ask almost anybody to marry us, but there are only a few chosen that will say yes.

Have we said, "YES to Jesus's wedding proposal?
Are we interested in His wedding plans?
Do we take for granted the engagement ring "Holy Spirit" that God gave us?

Today, take time to be in love with Him and prepare yourself for the Royal wedding of all eternity YOU and HIM.

And I will walk in and with and among you and be your GOD!!!

You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary. I am the Lord. If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments and do them, I will give peace in the land; you shall lie down and none shall fill you with dread or make you afraid; and I will clear ferocious (wild) beasts out of the land, and no sword shall go through your land. For I will be leaning toward you with favor and regard for you, rendering you fruitful, multiplying you, and establishing and ratifying My covenant with you.

I will set My dwelling in and among you, and My soul shall not despise or reject or separate itself from you. And I will walk in and with and among you and will be your God, and you shall be My people. I am the Lord your God, Who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that you should no more be slaves; and I have broken the bars of your yoke and made you walk erect [as free men]. Leviticus 26:2,3,6,9,11,12,13,

I find it refreshing to think that by simply obeying God, our life receives all the peace, favor, acceptance, and even more the presence of God walking with us and being his people. How this contrasts from when we are disobedient post resurrection where God's beautiful grace is abused and not respected. Interesting how we quickly forget the need to Fear God in His Holiness and His desire for us to have a fully abundant life through choosing a life of obedience. This week choose a loving relationship with your creator.

Questions to think about this week...

1. Where have I been obedient to God lately as He has spoken to me by the power of the Holy Spirit?

2. In what ways have I ignored or been disobedient to the voice of the Lord in my life recently?

3. What things can I do in my life this week to be more obedient to his voice the first time I hear Him speak?

50 Days of Waiting!!!

The first account I composed, Theophilus, about all that Jesus began to do and teach, until the day when He was taken up to heaven, after He had by the Holy Spirit given orders to the apostles whom He had chosen.

To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.

Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, "Which," He said, "you heard of from Me;

for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."

So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, "Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?"

He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;

but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."

The Ascension

And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them.

They also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven." Acts 1:1-11

These are days of great reflection as we move from the resurrection to the power of the Holy Spirit that came upon the earth 2,000 years ago. Over these days let us reflect on the resurrection power and the Spirit at work in the Life of those who claim Him as LORD.

Think Eternal today!!!

Think Eternally today of the impossible becoming possible. God is eagerly desiring to be intimately known to you and through YOU!!!!! Give God the space to Love in a whole new way.

And someone came to Him and said, "Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?"And He said to him, "Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments."Then he said to Him, "Which ones?

"And Jesus said, "YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER; YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY; YOU SHALL NOT STEAL; YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS;HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER; and YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."

The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept; what am I still lacking?"Jesus said to him, "If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me. But when the young man heard this statement, he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.

And Jesus said to His disciples,"Truly I say to you,it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven."Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

"When the disciples heard this, they were very astonished and said, "Then who can be saved?"And looking at them Jesus said to them, "With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." - Matthew 19:16-26

Adonai brings to nothing the plans of nations, he foils the plans of all peoples.

Adonai brings to nothing the plans of nations, he foils the plans of all peoples. BUT the counsel of ADONAI stands FOREVER, his heart's plans are for ALL generations. How blessed is the NATION whose GOD is ADONAI, the people he chose as his heritage. - Psalm 33:10-12

Whenever Moses entered the tent, the column of cloud would descend and station itself at the entrance to the tent; and Adonai would speak with Moshe. When all the people saw the column of the cloud stationed at the entrance of the tent, they would get up and prostrate themselves, each man at his tent door. Adonai would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. - Exodus 33:9-11


National governments are collapsing because they are not worshiping Adonai. Adonai is bringing every knee and every tongue into alignment with the WORD. They will confess that HE is Lord of All. Remember, the increase of HIS Government there shall be no end.

The nations are in divine and prophetic transition in preparation to go to house of the Lord. A hurricane has formed out of the Middle East. Israel is the eye of the storm. Jerusalem is the PLACE where the Holy one will come back too. The beginning of the outer bands of the hurricane are the Arab nations around Israel. The Hurricane will go around the world. Nothing can stop this Hurricane.

God is causing the filth from the daughters of Zion and all those who are grafted in, to be washed away around the world from the people. When sudden peace comes after this Hurricane subsides be ready, for then one will rise up and call for peace. We must all be at our tent door in the secret places with the Lord so we are not deceived. Hold fast to the profession of your faith. Shrink not from the teachings and admonitions of the WORD.

Look UP PEOPLE of God for your redemption draws nigh. Let the Spirit of Grace and truth be around your head. Taste and see that Adonai is Good. Look to HIM and grow radiant in the midst of the Hurricane. Together LET US EXALT HIS NAME.

We must bless the LORD and lets his praise always be in our mouth. Proclaim the greatness of Adonai.

To obtain the greatest intimacy possible with the Lord we must learn Psalm 107:8-9 . His involvement in your life is your choice. To remain in an attitude of praise takes disciplines that only the Spirit can help us achieve. Walk in the Light of his Glory and Grace today.

Grace for Living!!!

The truth of His Grace is evident in every area of Life around you. You must choose to receive that Grace today and live in Grace no matter how you feel. You can not earn your way in this life no matter how hard you try. You will always be left empty wanting more, even when success is attained. Grace gives you the ability to experience true freedom.

Today allow Grace to rescue you from the life you are currently living, trying to earn all you can. Let Grace adopt you into a Kingdom that is far greater than you can ever imagine. Once you have experienced this Grace release yourself to be completed in His image. Finally, let Grace teach you how to understand His equipping in your life, so you can lead others to GRACE.

Hope is a product that comes from the reality that you have walked through your own personal pain and can share that real pain with someone else to bring them through their hour of distress.

In the day we live, we need people of HOPE to lead the way to LIFE more abundant.

How much hope do you have today to offer the world in desperate need of HOPE that will last for eternity?

YOU just might surprise yourself and others how contagious things can get if we initiate HOPE into our daily vocabulary.

Give Grace a chance!!!!

Grace that is all I know to do is to live grace... Grace will rescue, adpot, complete, and equip you if you let it. Allow Grace the chance to invade your life and flourish in ways you never thought were possible. Remember, with GOD ALL things are possible.

All I have needed thy hand hath provided!!!!

What matters most is not how much you ask God for something, but believing He he has already provided it for you. Our total trust and dependance on HIM brings joy in the realms of Heaven.

It is time we begin to THANK Him for all the good gifts He already has prepared for us. Once we ask we need to just start praising HIS NAME. Remember HE inhabits the praise of His people.

Happy New YEAR everyone... Today is 1/1/11 "Hear o' Israel the Lord our God the Lord is one (echad)" Deuteronomy 6:4-9

There is ONE body and ONE Spirit— just as you were called to ONE hope when you were called— ONE Lord, ONE faith, ONE baptism; ONE God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:1-6

Today may we embrace the ONE truth that can set us all free.

May His presence fill every corner of your being in Worship to His name.
