Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. At this time in history more than ever before we need to make a conscious decision everyday to fix our eyes on Jesus. Persevere daily in your pursuit of Him. Retain your Joy in adversity and let the adversary and your fleshly desires know who is in charge. Casting off that which hinders our mind, will, and emotions from being all that God desires us to be we will be victorious everyday. Enjoy today for this is the day that the Lord has made.
