Re: Psalm 27 Take Heart and Wait for the Lord.

The LORD is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident.

One thing I ask of the LORD,this is what I seek:that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.

Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me;
at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD. Hear my voice when I call, O LORD;be merciful to me and answer me. My heart says of you, "Seek his face!" Your face, LORD, I will seek. Do not hide your face from me,do not turn your servant away in anger;you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, O God my Savior.

Though my father and mother forsake me,the LORD will receive me. Teach me your way, O LORD; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors. Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against me, breathing out violence. I am still confident of this:I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD;be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. - Psalm 27

Take heart my brothers and sisters during these days we live in. Psalm 27 gives us the answers we need as we seek the Lord. Hear our voices Lord as we cry out to you. We can be sure of this we will wait on the Lord and see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Blessings on your day,
Todd

How Great the Fathers Love!!!

How great is the love the father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. - 1 John 3:1-2

To be showered with the Father's love is such a wonderful thing. To know the Father's blessing on you is priceless. I have experienced the Father's blessing through the instrument of God's choosing and it is beyond words. One day we are going to be like Him and we will see Him as he is. Just think in a twinkling of an eye we will be like Him. Today, relinquish all to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and run into your Heavenly Father's arms. He is waitng. What can the world afford you that would cause you to miss the significance of the Father's blessings?

Blessings,

Re: Praise the Lord

Praise the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens, Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. – Psalm 150

Psalm 150 has a theme that seems very easy to hear with our ears, “Praise the Lord”. When you watch the ocean waves pound the surf you see his acts of Power. When you watch the stars shine forth in the night sky you see Him in the mighty heavens. When you hear with your ears the Voice of the Shepherd you know He is there. When you hear the thunder roll we are reminded of the great expanse of His created atmosphere. When you think about the numbers of people on the earth today we are challenged to Praise the Lord. In the midst of your darkest hour, lonliest moments, Joyous celebration, or deepest pain. Praise the Lord. As the Hot tears run down your face let the Fathers love wash over you in a way that draws you near to the heart of God. Today reach out and experience how great the Fathers love for us is.
Blessings,

Todd

Higher Ways

Seek the Lord while he may be found call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return to it. Without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me void, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. - Isaiah 55:6-12

Surely as we make our plans before the Lord we must be willing to lay them all down to the Higher Ways of the Lord. This past week God has made manifest His good gifts that are divinely orchestrated by HIS hand to all of us. Look around and see how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. God's goodness and indescribable gifts come as we send forth the Word of God out around us and charge the atmosphere. Even the Angels are commanded to go on our behalf to minister the plans and purposes of God in our lives. Bless God for His Greatness and mercy in our lives. When we become Speechless before the throne and emptied of ourselves the presence of God tastes sweeter than honey from the honey comb.
As you go out with Joy and in song know that your strength is being renewed day by day.

Blessings,
Todd

You have been summoned by name.

I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols. Sing to the Lord a new song, His praise from the ends of the earth. You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands, and all who live in them. For a long time I have kept silent, I have been quiet and held myself back. But now, like a woman in childbirth, I cry out, I gasp and pant. But now, this is what the Lord says - he who created you , O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, your God the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; - Isaiah 42:8,10,14/43:1,2,3a

The book of Isaiah is power packed with how "Great and Intimate" a God that we have. Isaiah offers us so many rich nutrients to encourage us in our vertical and horizontal relationship with the Father. As we grow deeper in love with our Heavenly Father we will desire to cry out and not keep silent about the God we serve and the changed lives that we are experiencing by His presence and power at work in us. How humbling it is to know that we are summoned by name and called His own. To know that He is with us should create an atmosphere of hope and comfort. Let us be challenged today to be bold in sharing our testimony and the blood of the Lamb. How will they know unless we proclaim the greatness of God in our lives and his Holy Spirit at work in us.

At Once they left their nets

As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for the were fishermen, "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men," At once they left their nets and followed him. - Matthew 18-20

Just a imagine for a minute you were Simon or Andrew. A man called Jesus walks over to you and says, "Come follow me". What would your response today be, if Jesus came up to you and asked you the same thing. We see that Simon and Andrew immediately left their nets and followed him. Wow, their response time was without hesitation. What did Jesus see in these fishermen from Galilee. I believe he saw hearts that were waiting in anticipation of their destiny to be fulfilled. Today, ask yourself , how long will it take for me to respond in obedience to your call and voice in my life today? How long will it take before I yield to the Holy Spirit nudges to bring life to a dying and hurting world? Trust the Holy Spirit as you yield, He will teach you and guide you into paths of righteousness for His namesake and make you a fisher of men.

Todd

Burn Holy Spirit in Me.

The Lord thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded. He shot his arrows and scattered the enemies great bolts of lightning and routed them. he reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me. For I have kept the ways of the Lord' I have not done evil by turning from my God. All his laws are before me; I have not turned away from his decrees. You, O Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; The Lord Lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior! He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me. Therefore I will praise you among the nations, O Lord' I will sing praises to your name. He shows unfailing kindness to his anointed, to David and his descendants forever. - Psalm 18: 13,14,16,17,19,21,22,28,29,30,32,35,46,47,49,50b

Psalm 18 gives us the opportunity to pour out our hearts to the Lord. Psalm 18 helps us to see that God is more than able to sustain us with His righteous RIGHT hand. Today start fresh and a new as you keep the decrees and ways of the Lord. Allow Him to rescue you. Allow Him to be your shield and your portion. Let God arise and your enemies be scattered. Remember we are descendants for ever, as the King of Kings prepares to sit on the throne of David Forever. Burn with Holy Spirit Fire as you serve the Most HIGH God today.

Blessings,
Todd

Nations will come to your Light.

Arise, Shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; - Isaiah 60:1-4a

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor, He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lords' favor. -Isaiah 61:1-2a

Among the shaking happening worldwide we can stand firm in the Kingdom of our God. In His Kingdom it is always increasing, expanding and dispelling the darkness. During these days when gross darkness is covering the earth we need to Stand Firm in the power of the risen Lord Jesus Christ. It is only by the power of the Holy Spirit at work in us that we will be able to weather the storms on the Horizon. We must purpose in our hearts to raise the standard for the world to see. We must preach the Good news and proclaim the year of the Lord's favor, before He returns to execute vengeance as our God. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture. For as it was in the days of Noah so shall it be in the end. Let God use you in these days of Harvest for His Kingdom purposes. Fully surrender all of yourself to the plans and purposes of God in your life today. Proclaim throughout all the earth that OUR GOD Reigns.

Blessings on your week,
Todd

Hold Fast to HIS Right Hand.

O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways, Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord. You hem me in - behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can i go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; If I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. - Psalm 139:1-10

As our nations grapples with the issues of the day, we as children of the Most High God are not to be alarmed, For God knows when we sit and rise. God tells us that HE Hems us in behind and before. What greater security could you ask for than to be Hemmed in by the Lord God Almighty. In the midst of the systems of man shaking, Hold fast to the Right Hand of God. Jesus our Lord who sits at the Right hand of the Father. The increase of HIS KINGDOM there shall be no end.

Blessings,
Todd

Virtue went out of HIM!

And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. Mark 5:30-32 KJV

As we press into the Lord and cry out to HIM, God will pour out His virtue into us. The woman knew if she could just touch Jesus she would be made whole. Today, I pray that we all will press into the Lord Jesus and tap into the virtue that will leave Him. As the virtue is transferred into your life be ready for Jesus to turn around and say Who Touched ME. May your answer be as Isaiah's when the Lord called "Here am. I Send me!" I have experienced this first hand over the past few weeks in my own personal life. God has used key men of Sunrise Chapel and a man of God in Illinois as we corporately have cried out to the Lord in belief and expectation of Him to show up.

Blessings,
Todd
