The Path of Life

You have made known to me the path of Life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord pure, enduring forever. the ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous. They are more precious than gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb. - Psalm 16:11, 4:8, 19:7-10 NIV

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. - Psalm 16:11, 4:8, 19:7-10 - KJV

Knowing the path of life is worth more than any tradition of Man or Holiday. When we know the path to Life all other ground is sinking sand. As the song says our HOPE is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness. We dare not trust anything, anyone, or anyplace to be distracted and misled to that life that He has called us too. Today take hope in the fact that the law of the Lord is perfect. The commands of the Lord give light to our eyes. Why not choose the commands of the Lord that give light to our eyes to see the Path of life that has been marked out for us. Today let the cares and demands of the world be put under the FEET of Jesus and raise to newness of life. Don't allow the world we live in to dictate to you your course. Stay the course that HE has laid out for you. Trust the Holy Spirit as He guides and directs you into paths of Righteousness for HIS namesake.

God is LIGHT......

What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have observed, and have touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life - that life was revealed, and we have seen it and we testify and declare to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us - what we have seen and heard we also declare to you, so that you may have fellowship along with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. We are writing these things so that our Joy may be complete. Now this is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light, and there is absolutely no darkness in HIM. - 1John 1:1-5

Today we can rejoice that the Word of Life was revealed to us over 2000 years ago. How much Joy should we reveal to this lost and dying world in the midst of our struggle in the Flesh. How much Word of Life is being revealed in you today? The generations that have gone before you that knew the Lord Jesus are counting on you to be the revealed life of Christ today to a lost and dying world.

As I meditated on the Life of Jesus this morning, hot tears ran down my face for all those who have yet to taste of the heavenly gift that was given so freely, with such a great price. He did nothing to deserve the death He died, there was no darkness in HIM. Today, give back out of Honor and Worship to the King of Kings by sharing his precious gift with someone. Share the Light that is in you that has been revealed to the world. Raise to the bar as the apsotles did and allow the Lord to use you to be a vessel to set the Captives Free indeed.

Blessings,
Todd

Are you Hemmed in.....

I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness. They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness. The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. - Psalm 145

As we wait on the Lord let us prepare our hearts to receive the meat that He has for us to digest in our spirit. The Lord has exactly what we need for today. Let us bless, praise, and lift up the name above every name today in our hearts. Let us not be caught in the enemies snare today, as circumstances may try to trap us. Know the goodness of the Lord and His everlasting Kingdom. Remember, you are fearfully and wonderfully made and create in His image. Your frame was made in the secret place. You were woven together in the depths of the earth.

The Lord saw your unformed body and ordained all of your days. Wow! Think about that in reference to Psalm 145 the Lord saw your unformed body and ordained all your days. Give him the Glory right now wherever you are. Stop for a moment and thank Him for how He has hemmed you in behind and before. God has laid his hand upon YOU.

Does He Know You.....

Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. Someone asked him, Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" He said to them, "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, 'Sir, open the door for us.' "But he will answer, 'I don't know you or where you come from.' Then you will say, 'We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.' But he will reply, ' I don't know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evil doers!' - Luke 13:22-27 NIV

And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. - Luke 13:22-27 KJV

In the days we live in we need to be very sure in our spirits that HE knows us. We don't want to found on that day not being known by the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus made it clear that people will have been involved with the body of Christ, but are not part of it. Today make a choice to allow Jesus Christ into your life so He can know you and empower you through the Holy Spirit. For those of us who have made the choice and are empowered, we must day by day be renewed and refreshed by allowing the Lord to know us intimately in relationship with Him.

Blessings,
Todd

You have assigned me my portion and cup...

Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge. I said to the Lord, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing."As for the saints who are in the Land, they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight. Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; You have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; Even at night my heart instructs me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the grave. Nor will you let your Holy One see decay. You have made know to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. - Psalms 16:1-3,5-11.

To man belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the reply of the tongue. Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. The Lord works out everything for his own ends, even the wicked for a day of disaster. When a man's ways are pleasing to the Lord, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him. In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps - Proverbs 16:1,3,4,7,9

As you start your week allow the Lord to determine your steps. Notice God said steps. Sometimes we want to go miles without taking steps in the process. Know that the Lord has assigned you a portion and cup for His purposes. He has you hemmed in and will fill you with the Joy of His presence. Allow your whole being to rest in His presence today.

Blessings,

Todd

Moses bowed to the ground at once and worshiped. O lord, if I have found favor in your eyes," He said, "then let the Lord go with us. " Although this is a stiff-necked people, forgive our wickedness and our sin, and take us as your inheritance." Then the Lord said: "I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the Lord, will do for you. Obey what I command you today. I will drive out before you the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. Be careful not to make a treaty with those who live in the land where you are going, or they will be a snare among you. Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones, and cut down their Asherah poles. Do not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a Jealous God. - Exodus 34:8 - 14

Today as we read these verses in Exodus 34, we see the greatness of our God. God has made a covenant with both the Jews and the Gentiles as they have received Jesus as their Savior. God is again doing wonders as never before seen in all the World. He has chosen us for such a time as this, to proclaim His glory above the systems of the world. In our hearts today, we need to make sure that we break down anything that is coming between us and God. Let us worship the Lord in all the beauty, reverance, majesty, and awe He deserves. Our God is so wonderful and wants to be in relationship with us. Give God praise today for how He lavishes his grace, mercy, and love upon us.

Todd

The Spirit of wisdom and revelation

For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saint's and his incomparably great power for us who believe. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church. which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. - Ephesians 1:15-19a,22-23

What a blessing to hear these words from Paul. It is encouraging to know that we can give thanks to God for what He is doing in each others lives to the point of great Joy. Paul goes on to speak to our hearts, about the Spirit of Wisdom and revelation, in order to know him better. This is not to be confused with knowledge. Wisdom goes deep into the heart of man and comes from the throne room. May we see with spirit eyes the things that we each are called to in order to fulfill our destiny for God. Whatever we are dealing with today needs to be under the feet of Jesus. I love that verse. Jesus is over it all. Allow God today to Give you Wisdom, Revelation, and lay down those things that hinder you under the feet of Jesus. He is our all in all. Let Him consume you today and let your cup runneth over. Let it fill the saucer for those who are thirsty to drink from.

Blessings,
Todd
