Does He Know You.....

Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. Someone asked him, Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" He said to them, "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, 'Sir, open the door for us.' "But he will answer, 'I don't know you or where you come from.' Then you will say, 'We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.' But he will reply, ' I don't know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evil doers!' - Luke 13:22-27 NIV

And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. - Luke 13:22-27 KJV

In the days we live in we need to be very sure in our spirits that HE knows us. We don't want to found on that day not being known by the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus made it clear that people will have been involved with the body of Christ, but are not part of it. Today make a choice to allow Jesus Christ into your life so He can know you and empower you through the Holy Spirit. For those of us who have made the choice and are empowered, we must day by day be renewed and refreshed by allowing the Lord to know us intimately in relationship with Him.

Blessings,
