And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statues, and you shall keep my judgements and do them. - 1 Thessalonians 5:23 ; Romans 8:9; Ezekiel 36:27
As 2008 comes to a close let us make a conscious decision to kill our flesh and move in the Spirit. God promised to put His Spirit in us. Daily yield to the Spirit and listen closely to the voice of the Lord. We are made of three parts spirit, soul, and body. The Word makes it clear that we are not to be in the Flesh, but in the Spirit. Let us hold fast to the Statues of the Lord which are upright and can be trusted. HE is our soon and coming KING. Welcome to the Kingdom for those who choose to yield the Spirit of Christ that is available to them. For it is appointed once for man to die and then comes the judgement.

The God of Jacob is our Refuge
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. - Psalm 46
The God of Jacob is our refuge and strength and we have nothing to fear. In the midst of this Holiday Season December 24th, be still and Know that HE is God. We are not to fear. The Strength and Power of our God is greater than all the Kingdoms that are raging around the Earth. We can trust the Word of God. The Television, Media Reports, Commercialization all fade and melt as the God of Jacob utters His voice. The Great I AM truly is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Jesus was definitely Not born on December 25th, but He Is the Ruler over all the Earth. Today press into the Savior and allow Him to secure your life and boundaries for His purposes.
Blessings and Love to each of you this Holiday Season,
Todd

And for thy Pleasure they are and were created
And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. - Revelation 4:8 - 11
The Lord is WORTHY to receive glory and honor and power. In our lives today do we believe that we have been CREATED for his pleasure? Do we believe that the Lord through the Holy Spirit can empower us and take residency in our lives? The Word tells us that we have been created for His Glory and Pleasure. It is refreshing to know that You and I were created for His purposes. Our prayer this Holiday Season is that you see the Most High God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, had you in mind before the foundations of the world were in place, to Glorify Him. What a beautiful picture Revelation 4 shows us about our great God. Today, embrace your role and position in the Heavenly Kingdom as a Worshipper of the Most High God.

Some Trust in Chariots....
The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel. We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions. Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call. -Psalm 20
Dear friends in the day that we live in we must trust in the Name of the Lord our God. As you gather with family and friends this Holiday Season allow the Name of the Lord your God to be exalted and on your Lips. Allow the Holy Spirit room to wash over you and take you to a deeper place in your relationship with Him. Celebrate your Salvation and the Hope we offer the rest of the World because He lives in US. Let His right hand strengthen you as we are risen and stand upright.
Blessings,
Todd

The Servant of the Lord
The Servant of the LORD
Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: Before I was born the LORD called me; from my birth he has made mention of my name. He made my mouth like a sharpened sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me into a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver. He said to me, "You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will display my splendor."
But I said, "I have labored to no purpose; I have spent my strength in vain and for nothing. Yet what is due me is in the LORD's hand, and my reward is with my God." And now the LORD says—he who formed me in the womb to be his servant to bring Jacob back to him and gather Israel to himself, for I am honored in the eyes of the LORD and my God has been my strength- he says: "It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth." This is what the LORD says— the Redeemer and Holy One of Israel— to him who was despised and abhorred by the nation, to the servant of rulers: "Kings will see you and rise up,princes will see and bow down, because of the LORD, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you."
Restoration of Israel:
This is what the LORD says: "In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances, to say to the captives, 'Come out,' and to those in darkness, 'Be free!' "They will feed beside the roads and find pasture on every barren hill. They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat upon them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water. I will turn all my mountains into roads, and my highways will be raised up. See, they will come from afar— some from the north, some from the west, some from the region of Aswan." Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth; burst into song, O mountains! For the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones. But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me." "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!
See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me. Your sons hasten back, and those who laid you waste depart from you. Lift up your eyes and look around; all your sons gather and come to you. As surely as I live," declares the LORD, "you will wear them all as ornaments; you will put them on, like a bride. "Though you were ruined and made desolate and your land laid waste, now you will be too small for your people, and those who devoured you will be far away. The children born during your bereavement will yet say in your hearing, 'This place is too small for us; give us more space to live in.' Then you will say in your heart, 'Who bore me these? I was bereaved and barren; I was exiled and rejected. Who brought these up? I was left all alone, but these—where have they come from?' " This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "See, I will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders. - Isaiah 49:1-22
In the time of Favor of the Lord according to Isaiah Chapter 61, let us look around at all that God has intrusted us with to proclaim the name of Jesus. The nation of Israel has come back into the Land. At this time of year may we not forget our repsonsbility to Bless God's people and the way He planned to bring Salvation to the World through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob all the way to Jesus Christ our risen Lord. Now, His Holy Spirit Lives in us like Jesus to be the hands and feet of the Holy Spirit's work in the earth today to see the captives set free. Are you ready to be used? Will you be that Arrow that is polished, hid away, and then used at His perfect timing? Today, as the United Kingdom will no longer teach the children about the Holocaust, because it is too offensive to the Muslims. Will we forget the importance that we need to proclaim the Year of the Lords favor. As you read Isaiah chapter 49 let it penetrate you to the depths of your heart. May this help to remind you why Rose and I are so commited to God's plans and purposes for Israel in this hour.
As Isaiah said, "COME OUT! AND BE FREE" Let each of us be vessels for God to use to allow people to be SET FREE. This was the plan of the Lord Jesus to have his Spirit in US and be agents of His REDEMPTIVE LOVE and SALVATION.
Blessings,
Todd
