And for thy Pleasure they are and were created

And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. - Revelation 4:8 - 11

The Lord is WORTHY to receive glory and honor and power. In our lives today do we believe that we have been CREATED for his pleasure? Do we believe that the Lord through the Holy Spirit can empower us and take residency in our lives? The Word tells us that we have been created for His Glory and Pleasure. It is refreshing to know that You and I were created for His purposes. Our prayer this Holiday Season is that you see the Most High God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, had you in mind before the foundations of the world were in place, to Glorify Him. What a beautiful picture Revelation 4 shows us about our great God. Today, embrace your role and position in the Heavenly Kingdom as a Worshipper of the Most High God.
