And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. - Genesis 17:1-5
And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God. - Exodus 3:2-6
Today, has God moved on your life in such a way like Moses and Abraham that your name has been changed? Has your life been changed by relationship with God? Is there a place in your life that is Holy Ground? God today is wanting us to set ourselves apart to be used by Him and for Him to communicate His love to a dying world that needs to be in relationship with Him. As you start today, think about the life you live. What encounters will you have opportunity with God that HE would ask you to take off your shoes for it is Holy Ground. Are you still living as Abram or Abraham? Have you taken your sandals off to hear from the Great I AM today.
Blessings from Israel,
Todd
