It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. -Lamentations 3:22-25
Thank God his mercies are new every morning and His compassions do not fail. I thank God that He is so faithful. he will never leave us or forsake us. Today, is the Lord your portion. If not make the choice and allow Him to be your portion. We can hope in the Lord. He promises to us that if we wait on Him and seek him that He will be good to us. Wow! His goodness is nothing like our best definition of Goodness, it goes far beyond any human goodness.
As you start you week meditate on these 3 short verses.
